On 22/8/09, I visited Kpg Endap with two of my staff, to meet the farmers of this corn plantation that was organised by Helmi. I was informed earlier this week by Helmi that they have harvested the corn and that we could collect from the kampung. Helmi even stated that he has settled outstanding matters with the farmers.
During the visit, we met Kak Nor at her house. Kak Nor told us that they have been holding onto the harvested stock (35 guni bags) for more than a month. She informed us that Helmi has NOT honoured their salaries and claims which amount over RM5000/- for the yellow corn plantation, which Helmi pursuaded them to plant since March 2009. Because of that, she would not release their harvest. At the same time, she still has some bags of seeds unplanted, and stated that she no longer wants to deal with Helmi as she feels they have been taken advantaged by Helmi.
This was suppose to be Helmi's model farm, as he also brought dato adzmy and other interested parties to visit his farm. Helmi has made promises to the people of Kpg Endap which he could not keep, and by that he would not be able to hand-over the harvest to us.
More lies. More disappointment. More investmenst lost.
